CBSE supplementary result 2025 The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the supplementary (compartment) exam results for Class 12 on August 1, 2025, and the Class 10 results on August 5, 2025. Students can now check their results online via the official CBSE result portal. 

What Are Supplementary Exams?

Supplementary exams are held for students who did not pass one or two subjects in the main CBSE exams. This gives them another chance to clear those subjects and move forward with their studies.

How to Check Your Result

Students can check their results using the official websites:

To view results, you will need:

  • Roll number
  • School number
  • Admit Card ID
  • Date of birth
  • Security PIN or captcha (as shown on page)

Pass Percentage & Gender-wise Breakdown (Class 10)

Out of approximately 1,43,648 students registered for the Class 10 supplementary exam, 1,38,898 appeared, and 67,620 passed—resulting in a pass rate of 48.68%. 

Girls performed better with 51.04% passing rate

  • Boys had a 47.41% passing rate

Re-evaluation & Verification Process

Students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for:

  1. Photocopy of evaluated answer sheets: Available for a fee
  2. Verification of marks: To check if marks were correctly added
  3. Re-evaluation: Subjective re-marking, charged per question
    • Photocopy: ₹500 per subject
    • Verification: ₹500 per subject
    • Re-evaluation: ₹100 per question

    • Apply for photocopy: Aug 6–7, 2025
    • Verification/re-evaluation: Aug 13–14, 2025
